HUGE LUSH Haul & Reviews!

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone is have a great day :)

Today I have a HUGE post for you all today and it's my humongous LUSH haul! All of these products have been accumulated over a few months and I have used all of them so read on to see tons of pictures and reviews of all the products :)

Hair Products:

Fair trade Honey Shampoo:

So LUSH's Fair Trade Honey Shampoo is a preservative-free honey shampoo {over 50% is made from honey!} which is supposed to give your hair lustre, volume and moisturization. This is the 3.3 fl. oz. bottle and costs $9.95. When I used this I only used a little because I was told that was all I needed, which turned out to be true. It didn't have the best lather but it was okay and after I rinsed it out my hair felt dry and squeaky clean. However, when my hair was dry, my hair felt so soft and silky and was so easy to style! This shampoo is supposed to my semi-deep cleansing so I love using it once or twice a week!

Seanik Shampoo Bar:

So I love LUSH's shampoo bars and I heard great things about the Seanik one so I thought I should try it out since they last awhile and are only $11.95! It has a great lather and I quite like the smell of it. When my hair was dry, it felt smooth and silky and had a quite a lot of lift was was great! This one quickly made it to the top of my favorite LUSH products!

Big Solid Conditioner:

So this one is supposed to be great paired with the Seanik shampoo bar or Big shampoo and is $9.95. I used this with Seanik and my hair had killer volume and even without paired with Seanik my hair had great volume. When you use this bar you slide it down your hair and coat your whole head with it and it seems like it isn't adding enough moisture. Which isn't true because it doesn't contain silicone so it doesn't leave a residue. This made my hair so soft and silky and my hair didn't feel weighted down like other conditioners can do to my hair!

Retread Conditioner:

I got a sample of Retread Conditioner to try out since it is quite pricey at $29.95. I thought this conditioner would be thicker since it is their heaviest conditioner they make. However, it was quite runny and although it made my hair soft I don't think it is worth the money.

American Cream Conditioner:

So the American Cream Conditioner is the "medium" conditioner in between Veganese and Retread. It comes in a bottle and is priced at $9.95-$32.95. I really liked this conditioner because it made my hair light and bouncy and added moisture and shine. My hair also felt amazing after using this!

Roots Hair Treatment:

Roots hair treatment costs $19.95 for 8.4 oz of product. It is supposed to strengthen fine hair and is supposed to add volume and shine. This has mint infusion which is great for the scalp and when using this you are supposed to give yourself a scalp massage. First off, save yourself a bunch of product and only use this on your scalp since it did the same thing for me as putting it all over your hair. This made my hair so soft and healthy looking, I just absolutely love it!

R&B Hair Moisturizer:

So R&B is a "tropical cocktail which gives your hair its groove back" and retails for $22.95. You put this in damp hair, focusing it on your ends, and then comb through. It really made my hair soft and silky and trust me only use a little bit  or it will make your hair greasy! Overall, I really love this because it makes my hair look healthier!

Bath/Shower Products:

Butterball Bath Bomb:

So every time I visit LUSH I always pick up Butterball Bath Bomb because it is hands-down my favorite bath bomb and the cheapest at $4.95. Even though it is "boring" it does amazing things for my skin. It is so moisturizing and makes my skin feel silky smooth and hydrated, I don't even need to apply lotion after taking a bath with Butterball!

 Carrot Bubble Bar:

This Bubble Bar came out for Easter and costs $7.95 and is still available online. You can reuse this about 7-10 times and I just place it under running bath water and it forms amazing fluffy, orange, and citrus smelling bubbles. I absolutely love it and it lasts forever!

Happy Blooming Bath Melt:

The Happy Blooming Bath Melt costs $6.95 and can be split up into 3 baths. It smells amazing, it's very sweet and smells like cherries. It contains calamine so it's very relaxing and made my bath water super silky and moisturizing. I loved the way my skin felt after using this bath melt!

It's Raining Men Shower Gel:

So I got the smallest bottle of It's Raining Men which was $9.95 for 3.3 fl. oz. This smells just like the Honey I Washed the Kids Soap and is super moisturizing because it contains honey. You only need a little bit of this to create a great lather and it made my skin soft and toffee scented!

Face Products:

Skindrink Facial Moisturizer:

Skindrink facial moisturizer costs $23.95 and is LUSH's richest facial moisturizer for dry skin. I have very dry skin so this moisturizer is perfect for me! I use this as a night cream because it is so thick and leaves a slight residue which I love for a night cream since I have dry skin. This does an amazing job at keeping my skin hydrated and I wake up the next morning with smooth, glowing skin! This also lasts forever since you only need a tiny bit, which is also great!

Breath of Fresh Air Toner Water:

Breath of Fresh Air Toner Water costs $9.95 for the smaller 3.3 fl. oz. bottle. It contains Aloe, Seaweed and Rose which is supposed to be good for "sore" skin. I love this because it removes all traces of makeup after I finish cleansing at night and makes my skin feel balanced and super clean. It doesn't dry out my skin like alcohol based toners and it makes my face look and feel healthier!

Herbalism Cleanser:

While I was at LUSH I picked up a sample of the Herbalism cleanser which is supposed to be good for spot-prone skin and since I was breaking out at the time, it was a perfect time to try it out. This calmed my breakouts and made them less inflamed and red which made it so much easier to cover up! After a week of using this cleanser, my skin calmed down and cleared up. I may purchase this since it is a great cleanser but it is pricey at $29.95.

Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser:

So this cleanser was out for Christmas this year and was such a huge hit that they added it to the permanent line here in the United States. This cleanser is $11.95 and smells like toffee and really is a treat to use as a scrub. After scrubbing my face with this, my face feels so soft and smooth and smells amazing! Definitely one of my favorite items from LUSH!

Coalface Facial Soap:

I also picked up a sample of Coalface since I was breaking out and if you have acne you definitely need to try out this soap! This smells pretty bad because it is made from charcoal but it is a great deep cleansing soap and has scrubby bits in it so it is great for exfoliation. This also helped with my breakouts and made my skin feel smoother and brighter! I will probably buy this the next time I am at LUSH since it isn't badly priced at $13.95.

Fresh Face Masks:

BB Seaweed:

I absolutely love LUSH's face masks since they are so fresh and cost only $6.95. I usually go for the ones targeted for dryer skin. I picked up BB Seaweed because my skin reacts great to ingredients like seaweed, rose and honey which are all in this mask. This made my skin feel amazing every time I used it and when I washed it off the dried seaweed acted as an exfoliate which really made my skin smooth! It also did a great job of bringing back moisture in my skin which is great because masks always seem to do the opposite to me!

Brazened Honey:

I also picked up Brazened Honey because I have heard so many good things about it. It has quickly become one of my favorite masks ever! It is such an exfoliating mask which if you can't tell, I absolutely love! It is also such a brightening mask and I couldn't believe how much lighter my acne scars got after using this mask for only a week! Definitely going to repurchase the next time I visit LUSH!

Well that is the end of my HUGE LUSH Haul! If you have any LUSH recommendations please let me know in the comments!

Natural Skincare: Kalliste Facial Soap!

Hello there beauties! I hope everyone is doing well :)

Today I have a post all about a new facial soap I have been amazing with lately! It's from an all natural, gourmet, handmade, and organic vegan soap company. They make all natural soap, body cream, scrubs, balms and more! All of their products are also vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, detergent-free and handcrafted!

They sound pretty amazing right?! So I really wanted to try one of their most popular soaps which is the Tea Tree & Black Clay Facial Soap! So read on to read my full review of this amazing facial soap!

What Kalliste Says About it:
"This Facial bar is Olive Oil based which makes it very gentle and moisturizing for delicate skin. Tea Tree Oil, known for centuries in Australia for its beneficial properties, is a natural antiseptic and astringent and is great for acne prone skin as it provides deep pore cleansing. Australian Black Clay draws out impurities and detoxifies the skin."

So Kalliste's Tea Tree & Black Clay Facial Soap comes in a 4.0 oz bar and it's ingredients include: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Rapeseed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Australian Black Clay, and Tea Tree Leaf Oil.

That's a pretty amazing list of ingredients since there is nothing that isn't natural in this facial soap!

This Soap retails for $8 USD and can be found here

So as you can tell this is a pretty big chunk to be washing your face with. So I sliced it into a 1 cm slice which works perfectly for washing your face and has been lasting me tons of washes!

So the first time I washed my face with this I wanted to try out it's deep cleansing property. I had a complete full face of makeup on and washed my face. After I was done my face felt clean and when using a toner after there were no traces of makeup on the cotton swab which is amazing!

I was also had a few acne spots appear and after using this soap the next day my spots were almost gone, and that's not a lie! I then continued to wash my face with this Tea Tree & Black Clay facial soap and my spots all disappeared after a few short days.

So then I began to think that since this is such a great deep cleansing and acne clearing soap, my dry skin would start to get super dry and irritated soon. However, the more and more I used this soap my face felt smoother and hydrated which is a big thanks to the Olive and Coconut Oil, which are the first two ingredients.

So after using this Tea Tree & Black Clay facial soap for a month my skin has never looked better! My skin is prone to small white bumps along my mouth and chin and they have completely smoothed out! I have tried everything to get rid of them and this really did do the trick. My skin is also smoother and instead of having dry skin my skin has shifted more towards the normal side which is great!

So since I have crazy teenager skin, I might not be the best candidate for everyone's skin type. So I gave my mom a slice who has oily skin and who's main concern is preventing wrinkles and brightening up dull skin. She has been using this soap for a few weeks now and her skin has brightened incredibly. The Olive and Coconut Oil have made her skin smooth and glowing and the Australian Black Clay and Tea Tree Leaf Oil have really helped control her oil during the day.

So with my experience and mom's experience with this facial soap, I can honestly say that if you have dry, normal or oily skin this soap will work great for you. If your skin concerns are acne than this soap will be a life-saver {I have even tried it on my friend who had severe acne and it has cleared up almost all of her skin in just a month!} This soap is also great if you just want a deep cleaning.

Overall, this soap has quickly become my holy grail soap and with such a cheap price {$8 USD} for such a huge amount of product which I can't see myself using up in even a year!

If you are interested in buying this facial soap it is now on sale for only $6.50 USD and can be found on Kalliste's website located here. They ship to the United States, Canada and Europe.

If you have any questions about the Tea Tree & Black Clay Facial soap then please feel free to leave a comment below! Also if you have a question about Kalliste in general or about any other of their products leave a comment!

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Product Reviews!

Hello beauties! Sorry for my lack of posting I have been super busy lately and hopefully when school is over I will get back on track with my blog :)

But today I have a post all about the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy products which is from the brand Sexy Hair, you can find their site here.

I have a total of 7 items from the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy line which has a total of 10 different products you can check out the whole line here. So read on for reviews of each product pictured below!

"The Healthy Sexy Hair Soy is a perfectly balanced line of products that provide nutrition and moisture to dry hair."

Overall this whole line is targeted to damaged and dry hair so if you have color-treated hair or thick coarse hair which is usually dry then this line is for you!

Color Safe Soy Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner:

So the shampoo from this soy line contains soy, cocoa and argon oil which is safe for color treated hair and is great for restoring moisture and adding sheen to your hair. I have been using this shampoo for two-three weeks now and I have really noticed a difference in my hair. I have noticed my hair having fewer split-ends, is easier to comb through and my hair just looks healthier and shinier. The one thing about this shampoo is that it may not be the best for anyone who has an oilier scalp because this shampoo does a more minimal job of really deep-cleaning your hair.

So the conditioner is a daily conditioner with soy, cocoa and argon oil. This is a thinner conditioner so it doesn't weigh your hair down but is still very moisturizing. This conditioner works great paired with the shampoo and I have noticed the same progress in my hair when it comes to becoming healthier. This is a really great daily conditioner and smells great!

Soy Renewal:

So the Soy Renewal from this line is a pretty talked about product! It's a nourishing styling treatment that you work through your hair when it's damp. It's consistency is an oil which isn't super runny and isn't thick. It's made with Moroccan Argon Oil which works great at minimizing frizz, adding shine and moisture and improving the hair's elasticity. This is hands-down my favorite product from this line because it makes my hair super smooth and shiny! It also makes my hair so soft and really seems to make my hair a lot healthier! If you want anything from this line I would definitely go with the Soy Renewal!

Soy Mellow Mousse:

So Soy Mellow is a conditioning and taming foam that you can use when your hair is damp to tame frizz and add volume. This consistency is just like a normal mousse but this one seems thicker and less alcohol-like. It's made with soy protein and cocoa and is a great moisturizing and taming product. This works great when I want to add volume to my hair and when I want to enhance my natural waves without heat, it also doesn't leave my hair super sticky and stiff which I love. If you are looking for a good mousse which is amazing for your hair I would definitely go with this one!

Soy Paste:

So the Soy Paste is a pomade which adds texture and separation to your hair. This is great for short hair or if you want to really separate your curls. This is also very moisturizing and not very sticky. This worked great when I scrunch my hair to enhance my natural waves!

Soy Touchable Hairspray:

The Soy Touchable Hairspray is a very light-weight hairspray that doesn't weigh your hair down. This hairspray adds moisture and tames frizz while also adding UV and heat protection. This is great to use when you want your hair touchable and soft but also wanting your hair to hold its style. I love using this when I curl my hair so I have loose, romantic curls/waves, great to use on a date night!

Soya Want Full Hair:

So this hairspray is the opposite of the other hairspray in the sense that this is a firm hold hairspray. It is great to use at the roots for tons of volume and literally will hold a style all night, trust me! I use this if it's humid and I want to fight frizz or hold my hair style all day and this works amazing at that! This also adds a nice amount of shine and protects your hair from environmental damage!

Well that is all of the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Products that I own! If you can't tell already, I really love this line and highly recommend it to anyone who has dry or damaged hair it has really done wonders for my hair already!

HUGE E.L.F Haul & Reviews!

Hello Beauties!

I hope everyone is doing well! Today, I have a HUGE E.L.F haul and reviews of all the products mentioned along with tons of swatches!

So I recently placed an order online at www.eyeslipsface.com when they had a code for 1/2 off the studio line. So all of the products I purchased are from the studio line except for one freebie from the essential line which E.L.F threw in!

Face Products

Studio Blushes:

Blushing Rose

Mellow Mauve

Blushing Rose {bottom} Mellow Mauve {top}

The studio blushes in both Blushing Rose and Mellow Mauve are very pigmented and are both very wearable pretty shades. The blush consistency itself is very soft and not chalky which is great since they are only $3 a piece! Overall, you can't go wrong with the studio blushes, they are great quality, cheap and have a great range of shades which are suitable for all skintones.

Baked Blush & Bronzer:

 Baked Blush: Peachy Cheeky

Baked Bronzer: Los Cabos

So I picked up a baked blush and a baked bronzer and I have been using them both together every single day because I love them so much! They are also retailed at $3 so I will definitely be picking up more shades!

There are 4 baked blushes total and I chose Peachy Cheeky because I love peach shades for spring and summer. It's pigmented but not as pigmented as the regular studio blushes but this blush is very easy to work with and very buildable. It also looks amazing on my cheeks and really warms up my skin tone!

There are 3 baked bronzers total and I chose Los Cabos which was the darkest of the 3 and the least orange. It is very pigmented as you see and adds a gorgeous bronzed glow to my face!

Studio Maximum Coverage Concealer

So I picked this concealer up in the shade beige because I wanted a slightly darker concealer to use under my eyes since I am now developing a tan. This works great at camouflaging my dark circles and a little really goes a long way!

Eye Products

Studio Baked Eye shadows:

Bark

Toasted

Swatches of Bark {bottom} & Toasted {top}
Okay so first off these baked eye shadows are absolutely amazing! They are super pigmented and do not crease on my lid. They come in a gorgeous range of shades and I love Bark and Toasted worn together to make a great neutral eye look. They are $3 a piece and I have been using them every single day and there isn't even a dent in the eyeshadow, you really get so much product for such a little price!

Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow:

Soiree

So I picked this up because I wanted to step out of my comfort-zone and get something more pink and not neutral like I always go for! Soiree is also only $3 and is a gorgeous pink with bronzed undertones. It has a "weird" consistency, it is fluffier than a cream and on the lid turned into a powder which is cool. It also lasts great on my lid and does not crease easily when used with a primer.

Studio Cream Eye Shadows:

Dawn

Bronzed

Swatched Dawn {bottom} & Bronzed {top}

So I have been loving these cream eye shadows as bases and alone! They are very pigmented and dry into a dry shadow on your lid which is great since it helps with creasing! These are only $3 and I could compare them to the MAC Paint Pots!

 Essential Brightening Eye Color:

Nouveau Neutrals

So this is the quad that E.L.F threw in free with my order and these are only $1 they come in 12 different shades and they are usually pretty good quality for the price. However, this one was sort of a dud! The darker shades swatched nicely but the lighter two were not pigmented and were very chalky.

Lip Products

Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15:

Peaceful Pink

This conditioning lip balm in Peaceful Pink is only $3 and comes with a bunch of product. It is surprisingly very pigmented for a balm and gives my lips a very pretty pink wash of color! These come in 5 shades and this is the most wearable shade for my skin tone and I absolutely love it!

Matte Lip Color:

Coral

So these are the studio "lipsticks" they are completely matte and come in a jumbo lip-pencil type of form so they are very easy to apply. They come in 6 different shades and are $3. This is the second shade I own and I love them so much! This coral one is fun and a great pop of color but very wearable! They are also not over drying but be sure to apply a lip balm first since they are matte!

Well that is all I ordered from E.L.F! I also just placed another E.L.F order today so I will have another haul and review coming up soon! If you have any questions about any of the products mentioned please leave a comment below :)

Be sure to enter my International Giveaway going on until midnight April 30th, 2013!
